The ASP Web Director is a web-based cluster management solution fully integrated with the Application Service Platform product. The ASP Web Director is built using a modern MVC (model-view-controller) architecture using the TurboGears web mega-framework.
  • It allows all SAF AMF entities in the cluster to be viewed and modified using an intuitive graphical interface
  • It allows new software to be deployed to the cluster, without taking existing applications out of service, supports ISSU (in-service software upgrade) and version management for deployed applications
  • The ASP Web Director is useful as a management tool in your lab; allowing multiple projects to use the same expensive ATCA chassis simultaneously, or as a the basis for your product's Element Management System
  • The ASP Web Director is built using the TurboGears web mega-framework
  • It can be installed into an existing in-service ASP cluster or added into your ASP model during the design phase and runs in highly available Active/Active (2N) redundancy mode or non-redundant (single node) mode
